Take a look at our services
PMI Field Marketing’s services have been crafted to meet the anticipated field marketing requirements in specialist fields. As a result of our cross-disciplinary expertise being integrated into the marketing mix, most client projects involve the use of more than one service. In this way, individual projects can be resourced to optimal levels in complementary areas. On-shelf availability is one of the biggest and oldest issues for both retailers and manufacturers. PMI is at the forefront of pushing forward new technology in this area, ensuring that availability is maintained from the supplier to the retailer’s distribution centre, and from the stock room to the shelf. Utilising smarter ways of working with EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) data, we are able to act immediately on availability issues and efficiently deploy our field resources to maximise effectiveness and ROI. We interrogate the supply chain ensuring clients do not miss opportunities, and link into other activities they are undertaking as part of their overall marketing mix. Examples of our availability and visibility work include Heinz and Innocent. PMI's field sales services means the critical function provided by a client’s sales force can be wholly outsourced or supplemented by flexible and cost-effective support over peak periods, for example new product launches, seasonal upturns in demand or in response to competitor activity. PMI provides this resource on a short term tactical basis or via a long term strategic solution. Examples of this activity include the Red Bull Academy and Scottish Courage. Product demonstration & sampling teams provide an effective means of achieving maximum impact in the marketplace and increased sell-through at either at the point of purchase, or in an experiential arena such as events or roadshows. New product launches, promotional campaigns and even re-branding exercises often require the specialist services of a ‘blitz mechanic’, responsible for the management of operational logistics, reporting and communications. Examples of this activity include Carlsberg Tetley and Sky. PMI provide a comprehensive channel support operation. The retail channel, with new product development as a driver, represents a key opportunity across an array of categories. Channel support can be undertaken on a tactical or strategic basis including managing the full remit of a client's support team. This can include; the implementation of a recruitment programme; TUPE legislation; enhancing an existing team; equipping the team with product, sales and presentation training and the tools to be able to do their job effectively. Ongoing coaching; implementation of reporting systems and overall, ensuring availability and visibility for products ensuring clients are represented in a proactive and professional manner. Examples of this activity include Kodak and Samsung. |
